We’re also building our own platforms through Heritage Holding (10 platforms and ~35 total acquisitions across our majority buyout fund), so we can provide you with sharper insights, more battle-tested advice, and a network you can tap into from day one. ## Our Search Roots Our roots in the search fund community run deep. In 2015 after graduating from HBS, [Alex de Pfyffer](https://www.linkedin.com/in/alex-de-pfyffer-a9603021/) and [Ross Porter](https://www.linkedin.com/in/rossport/)founded Heritage Holding which started as a self-funded search vehicle that resulted in the acquisition of [Maicom](https://maicomllc.com/), a critical infrastructure services company based in North Andover, MA. At acquisition, Maicom had 6 locations, 120 employees, and 90% customer concentration with the Comcast Corporation. Over the next four years, Alex & Ross grew revenue ~3x, completed 4 add-on acquisitions, opened a Canadian operation, and diversified the client concentration to ~35%.
